The Food Guide Pyramid is the healthiest way to go. You can probably find it online and figure out what you need from there. Basically, you'll need a mix of grains, proteins, dairy, fruits and vegetables, and fats. If you're breastfeeding even a little you'll need about 400 extra calories to support milk production. I would suggest seeing a dietician if you can, because with quintuplets, you hardly have time to poke around on the internet trying to figure this out!

I think you won't have too much trouble getting started losing the weight. You won't be sleeping much! You know the healthy stuff to eat. Veggies, actual fruits, not juices, protein, dairy, easy on the cabs. Lots of water. Good luck!

Yes, I am sure the 18 year old mom of 5 didn't make the news.Lets for one moment imagine you are telling the truth. You started at 150 lbs, which for an average height woman is just barely in the healthy weight range. When you saw the specialist for your high risk pregnancy I am sure they told you to eat healthy, not pure cheesecake for every meal. There is no way after giving birth and losing all the weight from the babies, the placentas, the water, etc, that you still have 100 lbs to go. You just physically cannot gain 130+ lbs in 7 months, and your babies, placentas, and everything else should have given you an instant 30 lb boost at the hospital. If you gained an average of 4.5 lbs a week for your whole pregnancy you could have ended up in the hospital, its just not possible to gain that much that fast.
